Reconciliation With Others Before God
by Keith Brenton
Jesus' teaching in the Sermon on the Mount makes it clear that our relationships with each other must be made right before our relationship with the Father in worship can be right; anger must subside, and forgiveness must be extended and accepted between reconciled brothers and sisters.
"Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift." ~ Matthew 5:23-24
