Unity in Worship
by Keith Brenton
04/26/08 - At the heart of worship that is acceptable to God is the unity of His saints. Nothing could be more clear than Romans 15:5-7:
"May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God."
There are no prerequisites for accepting one another mentioned – just the example of Christ accepting each of us as we are, enabling worship in spirit and in truth.
